Job Description:
The Cyber Business Unit of ManTech is looking for a highly motivated, qualified professional to fill a Lead Network Security Engineer position in Washington, D.C. A wide range of knowledge and skills are needed such as incident response, intrusion detection, computer forensics, vulnerability assessments and technical reporting for a government customer. Ideal candidates will be experienced in such platforms and tool sites as ISS or SourceFire Intrusion Detection Systems, ArcSight, NetWitness, and Encase. A degree in Informational Technology or related field (i.e. EE, CPE, MIS, CS) or 5 or more years of hands-on network security or computer forensics experience is recommended but not required.
Must possess knowledge in the following areas:
Computer forensics, network vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection, incident handling and have the ability to work in a team environment. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must maintain eligibility requirements for government security clearances.

Job Requirements:
A degree in Informational Technology or related field (i.e. CS, EE, CPE, MIS) or 5 or more years of hands-on security engineering experience is recommended, but not required. Must possess knowledge in the following areas: security engineering, intrusion detection, secure network design, firewall and security device administration, computer forensics, computer network vulnerability assessment/penetration testing, and have the ability to work in a team environment. Experience with devices such as Encase, SourceFire / Snort IDS, Cisco PIX/ASA, Cisco NAC, ISS SiteProtector / Proventia IDS, IronPort Web Proxy, WebSense, ArcSight, and NetWitness are a plus. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must maintain eligibility requirements for government security clearances.
